Enhanced team culture
Enhanced the company culture by organizing various social events, both locally and globally, to foster team bonding and improve morale.
Context
Verint's Vancouver team has always been a little separated from the rest of the company, and also siloed into separate teams, with each person's team mostly in another location. Because of this, there was a need for a collective social aspect to bring the team together and integrate socially where there were no connections at a business level.
My role & team
I took the initiative to organize regular social events for the Vancouver team, with the goal of fostering a stronger sense of community and improving overall morale. These events were designed to be inclusive and engaging, providing opportunities for team members to connect on a personal level outside of work.

- Crowd sourced event ideas
- Used tools like slack to discuss and vote for ideas

- Successfully integrated disparate team members, even after office closure
- Increased morale during tough times (COVID, office closure, mergers & acquisitions)
- Successfully organized 23 unique events since 2019
